Swedish micro business environment continues to improve as business failure continues to fall

The number of corporate bankruptcies in Sweden reached 589 in October, representing a slight decrease compared to the same month in 2012 and which suggest that the Swedish business environment continues to improve.

The figures come from the business and credit information company UC, in a press release.business stress

For the period January to October, the number of corporate bankruptcies in Sweden increased to 5757 items that is, 6 percent more than in the corresponding period of 2012.
UC notes that it is the fourth consecutive month in which it has recorded fewer bankruptcies, which reflects a more stable economy and demand.
"Many companies have been given a boost with more stable cash flow and profitability, which means that more and more companies are surviving, " said UC's marketing manager, Roland Sigbladh in a comment.
He further notes that UC seeing increased optimism in several Swedish industries, but there is uncertainty about the important private sector consumption, if it will increase.

"Perhaps, the debate about the high level of debt and a possible future amortization requirements for properties has made consumers more cautious, which can affect many industries, " he says.
