Wednesday, 31 July 2013
Norway controls the largest number of foreign companies in Sweden,
about 2200, according to a new head country of those pulling the
strings in the Swedish corporate scene.
However, most employees employed in the companies in Sweden are done by
U.S. companies operating here, a new data from the Swedish
organisation, Growth Policy Analysis made and reported widely by
various media sources.
In total, at the end of years 14,069 foreign-owned companies were found
in Sweden, resulting in a marginal increase from a year earlier.
The number of employees in firms totalled 639,340 people. 79 percent of the companies are found in the service sector.
A company is defined generally as foreign if more than half of the voting rights are held by non-Swedish owners.
