Learn from the Swedish Conservative party. Private contributions to the Moderates amounted to Skr1.5 million

Individuals gave the Swedish Conservatives Moderate party, Skr1.5 million in grants in 2011, said the party in a statement.

The number of donors were 4942 and no one gave more than Skr 20 000.
Conservatives decided last year to disclose all contributions over that amount. The party does not accept contributions from outside companies or organizations, according to the press release.
Others could learn from Sweden how politics and big business or the single individuals don’t mix. This why the political system here still remain cleaner that those of others.
