A controversial politician, Fredrik Molin of the far right party, Sweden Democrat in Karlskoga has been expelled from the party.
On Monday afternoon, the party reported in a message that Molin, who is a member of the Sweden Democrats in Karlskoga, has been thrown out of the party. This comes as the Sweden Democrats have been gaining in the polls and trying to make themselves governing party by weeding out extreme elements from its ranks.
The party accused him of having taken a holistic approach to
different aspects of operation in the party in that district. These
include how he used the local website and the way he has behaved
towards municipal officials, something the party said their decision
was also for health and safety reasons, according to Martin
Kinnunen, the party’s press spokesman.
Sweden Democrats have two seats in Karlskoga. Now, both seats are empty as the party has cleansed the other member for poor behaviour which the party defined as not conforming with its ‘party’s policies’.
The former Sweden Democrats politician, for example, had called the former mayor a derogatory name and published a text that compared Syrian refugees with known Nazis.
